Southern Highlands Farm Management is led by Matt Kowalski, an experienced farmer and rural property manager with a genuine passion for country life.
Matt and his team work with rural landowners across the Southern Highlands, providing practical, hands-on support to help properties stay productive, well-maintained and enjoyable to own.
Matt's story
Matt Kowalski grew up on the land. Although he went to school in the city, he always knew he wanted to return to the country and farming.
After working on the family farm for 15 years, Matt took on a full-time farm manager role in Robertson. From there, the idea for Southern Highlands Farm Management was born.
Matt is still always ready to lend a physical hand, whether that means getting on the tractor, handling livestock or mending a fence. These days, he also takes an oversight role, managing the team, advising rural property owners, and regularly inspecting and reporting on the farms in his care.

Southern Highlands Farm Management was created to help landowners enjoy the benefits of rural living without the constant pressure of managing everything themselves.
For some clients, that might mean regular inspections and livestock checks. For others, it may include paddock management, fencing, mowing, spraying, garden care, property clean-ups or larger improvement projects.
The level of service is tailored to each property and each owner.
Between them, Matt and his team bring more than 100 years of combined on-farm experience. Their expertise is practical farming, but their skills also extend across property maintenance, horticulture, gardening, orchards, livestock management, cropping and pasture management.
The team includes experienced rural property managers, gardeners, horticulturists and practical all-rounders who understand the demands of managing land in the Southern Highlands.
