Rural property assessment: how it works
- Define the brief: we’ll listen to what you hope to do with your new property, and talk through the opportunities.
- Opportunity assessment: using our contacts and local know-how, we’ll research potential farms, and whether they’ll suit your purpose. We’ll visit properties to make sure they fit your brief, or report on what it might cost to get it to that point.
- Pre-sales inspection: we’ll walk the farm with the agent (and you) to identify issues and opportunities.
- Report: the final report will tell you all the details the rural estate agent may not, like how many livestock you could run, problems with fencing, weeds and water, and the potential layout of the farm for machinery sheds and windbreaks.
